The Point-In-Time (PIT) Count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January, that takes place in counties all across the United States. The data gathered captures a picture of what homelessness looks like on any given day, and also helps coordinate services for people of our county experiencing homelessness.
The Lake County Coalition for the Homeless is currently in need of volunteers to interview and count unsheltered homeless persons living in Lake County on the night of Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 from 10:00 PM to 2:30 AM.
